Mission: eformulary

On the 19th May 2007, I gave a brief presentation to the Association of Private Family Doctors to introduce to its members the ambitious project which I am working on. The idea was very well received. The presentation was meant to have lasted a mere 15 minutes but took much longer due to the interest shown by those present. The formulary is much needed and therefore is eagerly awaited.


The following are some images just to give an idea of what the formulary would look like. There is a lot more projected, depending on the financial backing and overall support.


The formulary should serve as a clinical showcase for companies as well be a reliable and up-to-date source of clinical data for the prescribers, dispensers and those who administer the various preparations listed. The data is not intended for the lay public and access will be restricted to professionals only.

There will be links to other sources of information for further details and studies related to each particular drug, including the Malta Medicines Authority website.
